I’m Tanja, communication strategist and designer based in Hamburg. I’m a visual storyteller, explainer, explorer, artist, teacher, activist, color lover and optimist. I create conceptual and creative communication concepts that visualize values and information, evoke emotions and make things tangible.
I hold a diploma in communication design and a degree in communication strategy. Since 2013, I have been working with a variety of clients, mainly in the fields of culture and science. My style is bold and playful, characterized by geometric shapes, vibrant color combinations as well as the contrast between thin lines in combination with bold shapes.
With my design practise Plan C. (founded recently) i collaborate with other creative professionals to work for socially and ecologically sustainable brands and initiatives. I help them communicate their values, focusing on brand strategy, brand design and visual communication.
I give talks on sustainability and design and am a LinkedIn Learning author. You can watch my course “Nachhaltiges Design” ︎︎︎here.
Side projects are a must, as they give me the freedom to express myself creatively and gain new inspiration for clients’ projects. I run my own product line with illustrated paper and textile products in small batch series.
